MEDIA CONSULTANCY

I have been extensively interviewed by both print and electronic media, including New Statesman, The Independent, The New York Times and ITV BBC World Service, Today Programme (Radio 4), Newsnight (BBC), Al Jazeera English among others, and dozens of other print and electronic media, which together have a combined reach of over 220,383,548 people per month.

I have also presented on panels organized by the United Nations, European Commission, Home Office, Refuge, Women’s Aid, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Forced Marriage Unit, End Violence Against Women Coalition and other NGOs – both nationally and internationally.

I have frequently briefed the Foreign Office, The Crown Prosecution Service, Ministry of Justice and the police on all forms of gender-based violence including: forced marriage, ‘honour’ crimes, female genital mutilation, acid violence, sexual violence, child sexual exploitation and domestic violence/abuse broadly, and in India, Iraqi Kurdistan, Pakistan more specifically.
